Custom Framing Gets Dangerous!

Sometimes you just need to be able to get to your knives and swords at a moment's notice! Check out this totally custom solution to beautifully display a knife from Thailand in its hand-crafted sheath.

To create the shadowbox we stacked two frames together and connected them with discreet hinges. Museum glass in the front frame looks invisible when the piece is up on the wall.

There is a small super strong rare earth magnet embedded in the opposite sides of the frame to keep the case closed, while also allowing it to open easily.

The knife is held in place with two little hardware brackets but lifts right out.

This framing technique works well with samurai swords, civil war muskets, Bowie knives, and many other non-lethal collectibles!
