Wood Frames: Wood in and of itself is a biodegradable and renewable product but there are choices when it comes to the type of wood.

Frames from Europe: We import our own line exclusively from Europe. The European Union is progressive in the requirements it places on manufacturers to comply with responsible harvesting of forests and restrictions on the use of chemicals harmful to the environment.

Bamboo: We are pleased to introduce a line of bamboo veneer frames. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on the planet. It’s short growth cycle makes it an enduring natural resource and infinitely renewable.

Aluminum: While expensive to mine, aluminum is easily recycled. All of our aluminum scraps go to recycling and we will also recycle your outdated aluminum frames.

Steel: We offer a line of hand-made in the USA custom steel frames. Steel has no “memory” and thus is the easiest and most recycled material. Steel can be recycled over and over again thus saving resources and reducing waste. 

Cotton Matboard: Cotton is naturally free of any chemicals or pollutants. Cotton is also an annually renewable resource. It is both biodegradable and recyclable making it very environmentally friendly.

Glass: Glass is virtually infinitely recyclable. We recycle all our glass scraps and your unwanted old glass thus reducing the volume of waste sent to landfills.

In addition to recycling the materials used to create a custom frame, our company as a whole believes in recycling as much of our waste as possible including inter-office paperwork, shipping and receiving packaging and outdated computer equipment.
